Captain Carter's family wealth is responsible for this highly advanced modification. Lilly is also Skilled at hand to hand combat, firearms, vehicles, and first aid. Lilly has charisma that makes her fun to be around and she always has something to say that's perfect for the moment.

Weaknesses: Lilly only has a collective 6 years of experience compared to humans having their entire lifetime to base decisions upon. All her memories and knowledge were either preprogrammed or learned in her 6 years of existence which sometimes leads to her not understanding situations that occur for the first time. Also many concepts that are theoretical in essence escape her.

More about Lilly: She has a fascination with music which makes for interesting moments as she is able to stream, create, and play it through her mechanical body. She sometimes begins singing or playing music just to set the mood or to respond to certain things and while it can be comical, she's very skilled and the crew appreciate her abilities.

Story Text
Theyd been on a severed leash for months now. The captain had mentioned something about drifting being a new fascination among those choosing The Empires path of conquest throughout the universe. She didnt quiet understand what that was supposed to mean. For as far back as she could remember the Nomad Earth Empire had adhered to a strict code of space travel. Systematically eliminating the other cultures who posed a threat to The Empires safety, they would confiscate all the resources of their worlds before taking back to space to continue what seemed to be a never ending quest for galactic domination. This new drifting strategy the Captain had not cared to elaborate on struck Sergent Winters as a disturbing change of protocol. She hated changes. Things should stay the way theyve always been with thorough, well thought out rules and procedures to ensure that a soldier like herself always knew what her mission was and exactly how to complete it. Questions were dangerous. Well these kinds were. And she found herself asking questions in abundance. She kept her questions to herself of course. It wouldnt do for her soldiers to make note of her uncertainty. What was it about this new destination looming before her in the porthole window that made her skin crawl so? Just yesterday she would have traded an entire quarters pay for a fight. Anything to rid herself of the lethargy that had settled like a fog over the crew during the past month. The not knowing made her feel like a child again. An unfamiliar feeling indeed insecure? She was rotting on this ship. Sergent Winters had never been insecure.
Lets get this damned heap on the ground already!
The others turned at her outburst but she didnt notice. She was lost in her thoughts again.

Jarrod is pale of skin due to a lifetime in the bitter cold of the north. The metals of his armor are usually Silver or light tints of blue. The leathers and cloth of his armor are made up of whites and light blues. Jarrod owns more than one suit of armor and they all differ in design but all include the emblazoned leapwolf in some shape or fashion. I encourage you to use your own creativity if you attempt a different design of Sir Jarrod.

She has a dominating personality which makes her a great leader who is easy to follow. Her off duty hobby of acrobatics provides her with an arsenal of tricks to use in combat.

Weaknesses: Veronika does not like to follow the commands of others. She is a weak swimmer. The complexities of supernatural things, the fundamentals of magic, and most things that are ethereal in substance like relationships all escape her comprehension.

More about Veronika: She flaunts her sexuality, her well toned body and assets, frequently. She will often use blunt humor or make graphic statements to keep her companions off balance... but is this a disquise for some weakness she hides?

She is actually the only human who serves in the elven army and then only because she came to the elves at the age of 13 tattered and torn, homeless and with a dream of becoming an elf. The elders took to her and she was accepted amongst their peoples. They found she had a natural ability for the bow and arrow and a desire to become the best. Growing up amongst the elves, she learned in their schools and trained with their best instructors eventually becoming a great asset to their people.

Mirra is brash and competitive, a real Tomboy. She often fights with the male soldiers and is usually considered one of the boys despite her fair looks. She accents her beauty with piercings to account for her lack of elvenborn fairness.

In this drawing, she is pictured in the background standing on a treetop walkway underneath the magical MoonLeaf Tree. The leaves of the tree are transparent and luminescent in the moonlight and have healing properties that flood the soul with calm and compassion, washing away all the worries and troubles of a burdened spirit. You can also see "the Pearls of the Night", the three moons of earth in the background.

She's human which is a rarety amongst the Sky Mages. As with all Sky Mages, her hair and skin have taken on a bluish tint and her eyes glow a brilliant blue when she touches her power.

In this piece, you can see in her battle dress. The expression she has is meant to portray the weight of responsibility that is carried by every battle mage in these times. The well being of the population is a burden that can bow the sturdiest of shoulders. I used two mechanical pencils, a 0.7 and 0.5 The .5 for line work and the .7 on occasion for shading small dark areas. I used an HB artists' pencil for the majority of the shading. Supermodel Sydney Moon was the inspiration for the character's appearance. Serahnia is an original character from my "Cauldrons of Creation" storyline.

Powers: Does not possess any magical powers. Some skills with hand to hand combat. Long range firearms with sniper capabilities are like extensions of his senses. Charlie is a decorated sniper. Survival, stealth, and tasks requiring endless patience are well suited to Corporal Fresno. Capable of holding his breath for five minutes. The goggles he always carries with him allows him to see in absolute darkness and increases his visual range with a zooming ability.

Weaknesses: Charlie is uncomfortable in wide open spaces without cover. Such situations give him the "sitting duck" feeling which insites a snappy, irritable mood with him. He is uncomfortable piloting vehicle craft and only uses a solo bike when the situation demands it. Charlie doesn't sleep well making it hard to attain a rested state.

The title of this deviation pertains to the lady in the image. I haven't named it "Perfection" because of my technique or anything like that. I know there are flaws. On that note though, I think I'm finally done with being intimidated by my Cintiq. Digital art has been a daunting task since I've started dabbling in it but I think now I've finally gotten comfortable with it. I've been working on this image all day and even if it's not completely done, I'm happy with it and I'm leaving it as is. Hope you guys like it!

He requested to be an evil fantasy character. I'm made him a summoner. Here he can be see summoning a dragon. The flow of magic from under his left arm that exits the painting on the right should appear to be the "lifeblood" of a dragon at least in a magical sense. I've put some vein type structure there with scales. The dragon arrives from a portal at his palm and can be seen staring into Jason's eyes which mirror those of a dragon representing a telepathic conversation they're having in which he assumes command over the beast.
There's an emblazoned dragon symbol curled around his right arm that is reacting to the summoning.

Powers: The Drezzinger are born of the stars, inherently able to harness the power of the stars in various ways. Using magically crafted items, they are able to materialize weapons and armor from starforce. Some Drezzinger are exceptionally attuned to the starforce and are able to use its magic as a means of traveling great distances in short amounts of time. Darian is one such Drezzinger.
Very skilled in the martial arts, Darian is a master with forceblades and possesses great stamina and agility.

Weaknesses: Drawing their lifeforce from the stars, it is detrimental to the Drezzinger's health if kept away from starlight for too long. Additionally, adverse weather conditions that block out the light from the sun or stars will seriously hamper their innate abilities.

What you see here is a scene from my "Cauldron of Creation" storyline. The spaceships in the background are human invaders come to conquer this fantasy world of myths and magic. The character in the front should look perhaps sad... resolved. Something of that nature. I suppose this is my first attempt at background. Guess being a traditional pencil artist, the task of actually starting to use my tablet was a daunting one.
Anyway, the drawing was original pencils... except the wings which are all digital. Everything else was done in Photoshop CS2 with my Wacom.
A'Luna is an original character of mine from my "Cauldron of Creation" story world. The dragonfly wings on her back are actually attributed to an ornamental harness (the metallic part of her wings). Leapwolves are magical creatures, elusive as they are powerful. Leapwolves have the ability to teleport up to 25 meters away with each jump but they will not travel in many consecutive leaps because the overuse of their magic could possibly exhaust them. Rather they use their port ability tactically while hunting or doing battle. Leapwolves have the ability to communicate telepathically creating images in someone's mind using vivid colors, emotions, and smells. Extremely intelligent and very long lived, few people alive have actually encountered the leapwolves.

The guts and grime of the whole organization, a LEG requires little or no support to accomplish his mission. The NE Empire utilizes the LEGS to police up and establish order in newly conquered areas making the foot soldier position an extremely dangerous and demanding slot to fill. LEG soldiers usually carry various fire arms, wear gear fitting of the weather conditions, and first aid medicines opting against the burden of extra equipment. They are usually accompanied by a Scout Vessel bearing supplies and ammunition when the situation permits.

NOTE: The Nomad Earth army exists in the future centuries after the depletion of Earth's resources and it's destruction. The remaining human population have all been genetically controlled and some have been manipulated to gain better military advantages. The soldier here has a peculiar muscular anatomy... this is due to genetic enhancement. Please do not comment to tell me his 6 pack is out of whack. It's not a 6 pack... it's an armory.

Powers: Does not possess any magical powers. Skilled first and foremost on weapon systems. Heavy arms, small arms, vehicular arms, and explosives are all among Garret's profficiencies. Survival skills are moderate. Garret has high powered weaponry within reach constantly.

Weaknesses: Hot headed, Specialist Gunner has a quick temper. He also feels he's indestructible which leads to some harrying situations that come close to costing him his life.

About the Art
Photoshop with my Cintiq. Uniform reference from my Captain Karter image. The model I thank Katanaz-Stock for. It was a great reference that I feel was very capable of showing off Specialist Gunner's tough guy demeanor. I searched far and wide for a good reference that could pull this off and Katanaz-Stock really pulled through on this one for me.
